Deadpool

Deadpool, whose real name is Wade Winston Wilson, is a disfigured mercenary with the superhuman ability of regeneration and physical prowess. The character is known as the "Merc with a Mouth" because of his tendency to talk and joke constantly, including breaking the fourth wall for humorous effect and running gags.
The character's popularity has seen him featured in numerous forms of other media. In the 2004 series Cable & Deadpool, he refers to his own scarred appearance as "Ryan Renolds crossed with a Shar-Pei" (Ryan Reynolds' name misspelled).[6][7] Reynolds himself would eventually portray the character in the X-Men film series, appearing in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Deadpool (2016), and its sequel Deadpool 2 (2018).[8][9][10] Reynolds attributes Cable & Deadpool #2 to what got him hooked on the character and inspired him to bring the character to the movies.[11] He will continue playing the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.[12]
Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) is a former Special Forces operative who now works as a mercenary. His world comes crashing down when evil scientist Ajax (Ed Skrein) tortures, disfigures and transforms him into Deadpool. The rogue experiment leaves Deadpool with accelerated healing powers and a twisted sense of humor. With help from mutant allies Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Deadpool uses his new skills to hunt down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Wade Winston Wilson, also known as, you guessed it, Deadpool. He is a major character from Marvel Comics, serving as an anti-hero/anti-villain in the majority of his appearances. He is a mutant mercenary with an insatiable bloodlust and the uncanny ability to break the fourth wall, usually aware of whatever meduim he is in. However, because of his mortal code, he (generally) does as much good things as he does bad.
