Reptiles

Reptiles have dry, scaly skin,because of their slow metabolism and heat-seeking behavior nearly all are cold blooded and depend on the temperature of their surrondings.
Their tough skin protects them against injury and prevents moisture loss in arid environments.
They include crocodiles, snakes, lizards, turtles, and tortoises.

Amphibians

Unlike reptiles, most amphibians have thin, moist skin that helps them to breathe.
All amphibians have gills, some only as larvae and others for their entire lives.
They need water,or a moist environment, to survive.
